Project description
This project offers an opportunity to rediscover the deeper meaning of the images created by Masaccio, the first to apply geometric perspective to painting. Our contribution to the exhibition takes the form of illustrations, the cutaway of the Church of Santa Maria del Carmine, the reconstruction of the Festival fresco and the painted textures for a 3D film based on the "Pianta della Catena" (a 12th-century view of Florence) through which the visitor reaches the Church of Santa Maria del Carmine after a virtual tour through the city. |
