The illustrations which we have created over time are not just stylistic exercises, nor are they born from a need to make “pretty pictures”: they are a result of an awareness that illustration has the task of communicating contents in ways that other media such as photography or writing cannot. Illustrations are always comprehensible regardless of aesthetic pleasure
Every project is an opportunity to start studying again. For us, study means analysing each image continuously to check its effectiveness. Our final goal thus evolves constantly, striving for integration with new means of communication whilst maintaining the sensitivity and originality which characterize the world of illustration
