Project description

The Crypta Balbi complex now forms part of the National Museum of Rome. The purpose of the exhibition is to present the history of an area of the city from the Roman period to the present. Tracing the stratigraphy and the architectural remains makes it possible to see the changes occurring in this important part of the city.
